Alijor.com now offers price summaries for healthcare services in major U.S. cities
Users can compare their doctor’s price to the regional, state, or nationwide averages

SUNNYVALE, CA (June 17, 2008) -- Alijor announced a new feature today on their website, www.alijor.com. Users can now view price summaries for providers in their geographical area. By using the site’s “Find a Provider” feature, patients can compare prices for consultations, appointments, and follow up visits.

“It’s very helpful to know what an appointment should cost me based on my location,” says Jason, an Alijor user in Phoenix, Arizona. “Now when I am looking for a doctor, I can compare their price to the average, lowest and highest prices in my area.”

The price summaries are computed based on information provided by members of the Alijor community. Healthcare providers can post their information for free, and are asked to provide price information for common services.

The feature was added to support Alijor’s ongoing effort to improve healthcare accessibility and price transparency for patients nationwide.
