Alijor, LLC, the owner of Alijor.com (the “Alijor Site”) has created this privacy statement (“Privacy Policy”) in order to demonstrate our firm commitment to privacy. The following discloses our information gathering and dissemination practices. We may change this policy from time to time to reflect new website features or content. Please review this policy periodically to ensure that you are familiar with the then-current terms.

Alijor, LLC’s Promise:

We will take reasonable precaution to ensure your personal privacy.
We will keep our systems up-to-date.
We will set forth our policies regarding your privacy in writing, in this Privacy Policy.
We will not sell or disclose your personal information to any unaffiliated companies without your permission in advance.
We will not identify you personally to anyone without your permission, with the following exceptions:

Exceptions
1. Valid legal requirements, such as law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order. Alijor, LLC will comply with all lawful requests.
2. If you are threatening, harassing, maligning visitors to the Alijor Site, or other individuals, companies or institutions. Alijor, LLC will take any action that it deems appropriate to remedy such a situation, including alerting legal authorities.
3. If you post information about endangering yourself or others on the Alijor Site, Alijor, LLC will take appropriate action, including alerting legal or medical authorities, which may require that we divulge personal information about you.

1. Information that Alijor, LLC collects
Alijor, LLC gathers two basic types of information:

A. Information provided to Alijor, LLC
Alijor, LLC uses the information you provide to us to better understand your needs and provide you with better service. In order to use many of the Alijor Site's features, tools and services, we ask you to register to become a member. During this member registration process, we will ask you for personally identifiable information such as your email address, zip code, username and password. Alijor, LLC uses the information it gathers primarily to connect providers with you as well as to communicate with you if necessary. Alijor, LLC may email its users periodically to inform them about the status of, or upcoming changes to the Alijor Site, or to inform them about changes to our Privacy Policy. In addition, Alijor, LLC may email a user at any time regarding issues with his/her account or postings (including, but not limited to postings that may be deemed inappropriate for the Alijor Site). Alijor, LLC does not send promotional or commercial emails to its users without permission. However, from time to time, we may use your information to contact you to provide you with medical information we think would be of particular interest.At a minimum, we always give you the opportunity to opt out of receiving such information in the future by de-activating the box next to,“Yes! Please send me Alijor information and offers that are of interest to me.”

We also may collect information that you voluntarily provide to us through responses to surveys, questionnaires and the like.

B. Information gathered by Alijor, LLC
When you visit and use the Alijor Site, Alijor, LLC may collect information on your actions. This type of information is generally collected from two sources. One is from the server log files, which tracks your IP address, and the other is from cookies.

1. IP Address (collected from server log files)
Your IP address is a number that is assigned by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) to your computer to identify its location. We may use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server and to administer the Alijor Site. We may also sometimes use IP addresses to communicate with members and subscribers and possibly even ban those members who are not complying with our Terms and Conditions.

2. Cookies
The Alijor Site uses a feature of your browser to set a "cookie" on your computer. Cookies are small packets of information that a site's computer stores on your computer. Alijor, LLC can then read the cookies whenever you visit the site. We use cookies to save your password so you don't have to re-enter it each time you visit the Alijor Site, to deliver content specific to your interests, to track the pages you've visited and to make sure you don't see the same ads repeatedly. These cookies allow us to use the information we collect to customize your Alijor Site experience so that your visit to the Alijor Site is as relevant and as valuable to you as possible. Except as set forth in this policy, Alijor, LLC and its subsidiaries will not disclose to unaffiliated companies or other third parties any information it gathers from you which could be used to identify or contact you.

Any personal information provided to entities affiliated with the Alijor Site will be treated in accordance with the terms of this Privacy Policy, unless you are otherwise notified.

Alijor, LLC may provide information to third parties about you which does not allow you to be identified or contacted ("Aggregate Information"). For example, we might inform third parties regarding the number of members or visitors of the Alijor Site and the activities they conduct while on the Alijor Site. We might also inform a pharmaceutical company of the total number of page views in a particular forum.

2. Children
Our medical forums and chat areas are closed to children under 18 years of age. Alijor, LLC will not engage in or permit marketing to children that does not conform to the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act [COPPA]. Note that children MUST have written permission from their parents prior to registering on, or using any part of the Alijor Site.

3. Security
Security is a matter of protecting data from unintended use, loss, misuse, counterfeit, and accidental or unauthorized alteration. It extends from data collection through storage, retrieval and processing through transmission. It includes backup and recovery procedures. We have installed a number of security measures to protect the confidentiality of your personal information. You are identified on the Alijor Site by your UserName and Password only. Be advised that although we endeavor to provide a secure and reliable site, absolute confidentiality cannot be guaranteed. We urge you to exercise caution when conveying any personal information over the internet. For example, if you send an email, you should know that email is not necessarily secure against interruption. You should consider carefully if you want to submit information that you would not want disclosed to the public.

4. Third Party Companies

A. Collection of Email Addresses
No third party companies have been authorized to collect email addresses on Alijor.com. Additionally, Alijor, LLC will not provide your email address to any third party without your permission.

B. Advertising on the Alijor Site
You may see advertisements or links to other businesses while using the Alijor Site. Sponsors, partners or advertisers on the Alijor Site may use their own cookies to collect non-personal information about you when you click on their advertisement or link to their site or service, or even if the advertisement simply appears on a page that you are viewing. Alijor, LLC does not control these third parties' use of cookies or how they manage the non-personal information they gather through them. You should review the privacy policy of other sites you visit or link to from the Alijor Site to understand how these other sites use cookies and how they use the information they collect through the use of cookies on their own sites. Alijor, LLC endeavors to distinguish sponsors and advertisers on the Alijor Site.

5. Alijor, LLC Patient Network
Our message board requires registration for posting and replying to the forums. Please remember that any information that is disclosed in these areas becomes public information and you should exercise caution when deciding to disclose your personal information.

6. External Links
In order to provide visitors with greater value, Alijor, LLC may provide links to various third party Web sites. Even if a business relationship exists between Alijor, LLC and the owner of a destination site, Alijor, LLC exercises no authority over linked sites, each of which maintains independent privacy and data collection policies and procedures. Alijor, LLC assumes no responsibility or liability for in connection with your use of such destination sites. Similarly, Alijor, LLC cannot take responsibility for the privacy, security or content of such Web sites. Destination links are provided only for your convenience, and as such, you access them at your own risk. However, because Alijor, LLC wishes to ensure the integrity of the Alijor Site experience, Alijor Site and its destination links, Alijor, LLC greatly appeciates any comments that users may have pertaining to the Alijor Site or any sites accessed through the Alijor Site links.

7. Accessing/Updating Personal Information
Alijor, LLC gives users the option of changing and modifying information previously provided. Registered users may login and click on the Edit Your Profile button (right panel). The Edit Your Profile button allows users to add or remove profile information, set preferences, etc. Alternatively, users may contact us directly for such requests.

8. Surveys
We may occasionally conduct surveys on the Alijor Site. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary. Any information collected via these surveys will only be used to help us provide you with better service in the future.

9. Site Accuracy
While we make every effort to ensure that all the information provided on the Alijor Site is correct and accurate, we make no warranty, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness or timeliness, of the information available on the Alijor Site. Alijor LLC is not liable to anyone for any loss, claims or damages caused in whole or in part by any of the information provided on the Alijor Site.

10. Notification of changes to the privacy statement
In the event of a material change to the Privacy Policy, registered Alijor Site users shall be notified by email. In addition, notices will be posted throughout the Alijor Site.
